Privacy policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data BKY Studio collects, why, and what your rights are. It covers this website, email contact with us, and our apps.
Who we are
BKY Studio V.O.F. (KvK 42196903) is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@bky.studio.
This website
This website sets no cookies, shows no ads and does not track you across other websites. Its only form is on the Start a project page.
Hosting. The website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you request. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare may process this data outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Visitor statistics. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify individual visitors. We see only totals, such as the number of page views and the countries and browsers visitors use.
Start a project
When you send the form on the Start a project page, we receive your answers: what you need, your project, who will use it, what it must do, its stage and budget, your name, company, email address, phone number and when you are available. We use them only to reply to your request and to prepare a proposal, as steps you asked for before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The form is sent through Cloudflare Email Service to our mailbox, which is hosted by Google Workspace. After that we keep it like any other email (see below).
To stop the form from being used for spam, we keep a scrambled form (a hash) of your email address, so the same address cannot send a second request, and we count requests per connection using a scrambled form of your IP address that changes every day and is deleted after a day. These records cannot be turned back into your address. We rely on our legitimate interest in protecting our inbox (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Ask us and we delete the record of your email address.
When you email us, we use your email address and your message to reply and to help you. Our email is hosted by Google Workspace. We keep correspondence for as long as we need it to help you, and longer only where Dutch law requires us to keep business records.
Our apps
Each app we publish gets its own section in this policy. It lists the data the app collects and why, the third-party services it uses, and how long the data is kept.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. Email us at support@bky.studio to use any of these rights. We reply within one month.
If you believe we handle your data wrongly, you can file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
